Think of an early access period as a sneak peek of a new game or a new version of a game. This term means it's an early version that isn't completely finished yet. It's a bit like a dress rehearsal for a play—all the main parts are there, but we're still finding and fixing little things before the big show opens!
As an early access player, you are one of our first and most important audience members. By playing the game and sharing your thoughts, you help us spot problems, improve features, and make sure the final version of this new platform is as fun and smooth as possible for all of our players. Your feedback is the key to making the new Fish World platform a success!
💻 How to Log In 💻
To log into your Fish World account on playfishworld.com, please:
- Make sure you have an email set up with your Fish World account.
- Log into Fish World via Facebook, either in your browser or by using the desktop app.
- Head to the “account” tab on the top bar of Fish World.
- Verify that your email is set up in the email address section.
- If you have not set up your email in this section, please do so now.
- Now head to playfishworld.com.
- In the “Enter your email” section, please enter the email you have set up as your email address.
- Please enter your password.
- When you originally set up your email in the email address section in Fish World, you would have been asked to provide a password. Please use that password.
- If you don’t remember the password that you had set up, please click the “Forgot your password?” link to reset your password and pick a new one.
- Click “Continue”, then enjoy playing Fish World!

Think of this like a treasure hunt! During this early access period, we hope you explore every part of the game and tell us what you find. Every bit of information you share helps us make the final version of this platform better for everyone!
👩🔧 What to Do as an Early Access Player: 👨🔧
- Play the Game Like You Normally Would: Just have fun! Spend time with the game as you usually do. Check out your favorite fish, decorate some tanks, and try out the different features of Fish World. We want to see how the game works for a regular player like you.
- Keep Your Eyes Out For Bugs: As you play, pay attention to anything that seems "off." This could be a button that doesn't work, fish or decos that look strange, a game that freezes, or an error message that doesn't make sense.
- Tell Us When Something Feels Wrong: If something is confusing or frustrating, even if it's not a "bug," we want to know. Maybe buttons you are looking for are hard to find, or something isn't clear. Your feelings about the game are important feedback!
- Report What You Find: When you notice something, please tell us about it! The
more details you can give, the better. Think of it like a story:
- What were you doing? (e.g., "I was trying to feed my fish.")
- What happened? (e.g., "I clicked Feed All, and there was no food.")
- What were you hoping would happen? (e.g., "I expected my fish to eat the food.")
- Take a Picture! If you can, a screenshot, or a picture from your phone, of the problem is worth a thousand words. It shows us exactly what you saw and helps our team diagnose the issue.
- Please Be Patient with Us (and the Game!): Since this is a new version, there will be some bumps along the way. You might run into bugs or parts of the game that don't work perfectly. That's exactly why we need your help! We'll be working hard to fix things as you find them.

A Note on Known Issues
As you start exploring the Early Access version of Fish World, you might run into some issues that we are already aware of. Our team is actively working to fix these problems, and you won't need to report these particular issues.
List of Known Issues
- Creating new accounts is currently not enabled.
- The Purchase History tool will not display purchases made when playing on playfishworld.com, and while playing on playfishworld.com, previous purchases made while playing on the Facebook browser version / the desktop app will not display.
- Due to the Facebook-side outage, Gifting is not currently working in this new version, but remains a top priority for our team.

- Is my Fish World account safe?
Yes, absolutely! Your account will be available on both the Facebook-browser version and desktop app AND the new playfishworld.com site at the same. If you buy decos on one version, they will be available on the other version too! Any tanks you make in the early access version will be available in the Facebook versions when you are done. - Can I make purchases during the Early Access Period?
Yes, you can! Purchases and transactions made while playing on playfishworld.com are processed using Stripe, a leading and highly secure payment processor. Stripe is trusted by millions of businesses worldwide and uses advanced encryption and security measures to keep your personal and financial information safe. You can be confident that your payment details are protected every step of the way! Even if your payments were previously restricted by Facebook / Meta Pay, please give payments via Stripe a try! - What if I can't figure out how to do something?
